Default October Flux- blast from the past

17 unique fluxes. Why did they stop? Have they decided to stop devving GW because too many pvpers stopped playing?

This month's Flux is back to Minion Apocalypse.

"Any time a player dies, all nearby creatures are struck for 50 damage and a level 20 masterless bone horror is spawned."

Was this one of the good fluxes? Are they only replaying the fluxes they thought were game changers?

I best remember that flux when it was bugged. Someone managed to die in an outpost (Dhuum perhaps?), spawning a minion, killing other people spawning more minions. It was hilarious.

PvP is a dying art in Guild Wars. The current team has no interest in improving upon or fixing the current state of the game as shown by the incessant abuse of multiple PvP formats (botting in RA, JQ; syncing in HA). GvG is still active in some respects but there is only enough people to play AT's and MAT's as there is to enter resign guilds.

There has also been a notable decline in population, from what I can see, in GToB. Seems the numbers went down drastically after the last MAT.

GvG is playable, but it's mostly about luck( when you play, hour you play, etc..) Sometimes, there is simply noone, sometimes there are heavy syncers( there's a whole ally in fact...). I'm logging from time to time and still haven't seen any serious form of play in HA/CA though..

I saw some activity during the GvG MAT, but rest were mostly 1 good match for 4 syncing matchs..

Too bad we can't just play HA or Codex by picking henchs and going in. At least, we would be able to kick all these syncers by orselves and there would be a few activity ...

No. Of all the fluxes during the past 6 months, this one is by far the most annoying.

Agree with the henches in HA. The game is dead, at least make it into a dumbed down format catered to the smaller playerbase.

The second year consecutive this flux is ruining my fun in costume brawl..I'm making good tactics winning most of the time, but it's pretty hilarous when you start losing because there are 10 minions on you in addition of other team, especially on those 2 maps with 3 shrines..

They stuck you, you can't escape( sometimes get random timekills out of nowhere). They waste your bars and energy until opposing party is coming back, sometimes completly making your won match lost.

Also, how fun when you won a melee vs melee battle, too bad you had 30 hp left you die because of flux too( and this happened also in a gvg match i had recently, 42 hp when killed the ganker sin, boom i died and flag dropped)..

Probably noone cares anyway of PvP anymore or even of costume brawl, but i think fluxes have no use( usually it lead to some build abuses, that's all) and they should be removed...

No, they're just replaying the minion flux because they want it for halloween
Last time it was active was last halloween
still stupid though

that no-elite flux was good and actually made more builds viable

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Meek_Shall_Inherit
If you do not equip an elite skill, you have +2 to all attributes, +2 Health regeneration, and +1 Energy regeneration.

Might be nice if they merged 2-3 of the good fluxes into 1 perma-flux
Some of them are really minor and potentially beneficial

fluxes, a cheap way to bring a pvp update in, i agree, they're all bad, and yes, they don't help in CB at all, the bots attack them, the dullards attack them, they body block, they randomly kill, but anet haven't been good on the pvp front for ages, we all know that

they should just nerfed dervs back to a reasonable level instead

on a good note, got a CB bot a ban, i might start on JQ bots after CB ends
